Shakti Unleashes Empowerment Extravaganza: A Symphony of Strength, Style, and Celebration for International Women's Day!

This event was a powerful step towards achieving that goal, as Shakti's empowerment initiatives strive to amplify women's voices, celebrate their achievements, and provide essential resources for their growth. The occasion garnered support from numerous women platinum, gold, and silver sponsors, while the event hall buzzed with activity as women vendors showcased and sold their products to an enthusiastic crowd of over 500 attendees.
The ambiance of the event was meticulously crafted with an elegant black and red theme, setting the stage for an evening that would unfold with grace and purpose. The festivities commenced with a diya lighting ceremony, led by Shubha Sridhar, the founder of Shakti, and esteemed chief guests including Stephanie Hayden-Howard (Director of Austin Public Health), Michelle Ly (Round Rock Councilmember to Place 1), Nagavalli Medicharla (Chair member at Austin Music Commission, Mayor's Appointee - Austin Arts Commission), Maricela Gómez (Assistant Principal, Georgetown High School), Andrea Curry (Vice President, Williamson County & Commercial Div, JB Goodwin Realtors), and Gloria Chauskey (Security Architecture of FICO Products / Leader in FICO Cybersecurity).
